Glass Bottle Paintings

I was craving to paint something and so I tried my hands on the empty glass bottles that were lying in my store room. I used Acrylic colors for the base and pearl colors/acrylic colors for the designs.

These were glass milk bottles. Thought of using them to satisfy my mid-night craving for painting. Base coating of white acrylic paint.
Designed it with red acrylic paint and used some old rose flowers lying in my craft box to decorate.
These were Harleys Jam bottles from London, didn’t feel like throwing them after consuming the Jam. Base paint is acrylic, designs with pearl colors.
Glass Cookie Jar painted with black acrylic base and dots made with pearl colors using ear buds. Dip the ear buds in paint and it gives perfect round shape.

Hand painted Plant Pots

A few days back I made my mind to revamp my old plant pots which had faded and started looking dull over the years. I painted them all with brown base, let them dry and then painted designs on them. I used acrylic paints for the designs.

Happy Holi!!

The festival of colors has arrived!! 🙂 The preparations for Holi are going on everywhere with full enthusiasm, energy and joy.

For this year’s Holi decorations, I made these colorful flowers to be decorated in the New Jersey Satsang hall.

Festive Winter Cards

I had been very busy lately so I couldn’t add any new post, but now my exams are done and I am a bit relieved, hmmm…at least for a couple of weeks! So last weekend I spent quite some time preparing cards. Picture of ginger breadman cookies that I made yesterday is at the end of this post 🙂
